i just moved to the area and when i first seen the cross lighted up at night….i knew i was among God loving people. thank you Jesus
So many times I drive home from work in the dark of winter. Sometimes I have a bad day and then I round a corner and see the Cross on the Hill, comforting and watching over the valley. Thank you.
We miss you and love you.
The cross has been lit today to honor our angel in heaven, Natasha Junell. She would have been 33 years old today, but was taken from us when she was only 15 years old. Not a day goes by that we do not think about her and miss her. We know she is in heaven […]
Thank you for your incredible ministry. Our 41 year old son,Wyatt Earp Allers, died August 24 in Wenatchee after a diving accident in a swimming pool. He broke his neck and hung on in the hospital for about 4 days. It was enough time for all of his family to get there from Tennessee and […]
I just want to say thank you for taking the time to allow others to honor their loved ones with the cross. It is a very special thing you are doing. I remember years ago the first time I saw it lit up near saddlerock. It was so awe inspiring and gave me a very […]
Today while I was checking out my groceries at Albertsons, a man handed me a piece of paper. I read it, and written was the most kind offer. The man paid for my groceries. Your organization and the the gift you gave me today has given me faith that people are kind and this year […]
3 years today My Love … still…
I was 11 years old when Daddy died… that was back in 1994. That Christmas, a beautiful golden cross appeared on the moutainside directly behind my house near #2 canyon. I had never seen it before but was in awe because it so reminded me of the golden cross my dad often wore before his passing. He had a fantastic relationship with Jesus and introduced me to him.
Seven years later, my husband and I were getting married. The night before the wedding we walked out of the basement of our church, which overlooked the valley, and I saw that shining reminder on the hill.
Thank you for our beautifully lighted cross. Please do not even consider taking it down. To me, it is evidence that God so loved us that He sent his only Son to redeem us from our sins and give us hope for eternal life. Amen! Margaret McCormick
Just before Thanksgiving I wondered about the cross. I had not seen it for a while and with the Christmas season quickly approaching I kept anticipating its presence on the horizon. I was so blessed this year to see it bigger and brighter than ever in its new location. My kitchen window looks south from my home in East Wenatchee with a clear view of Wenatchee Heights. One evening I glanced up while doing the dishes and there was the cross, positioned perfectly in the center pane of my kitchen window. It is wonderful!! My young daughter, Hope, was also thrilled.
‘If I be lifted up …., I will draw all men to myself’
Since moving to Wenatchee I have appreciated looking across the valley to see that cross shining as a reminder for the reason for Christmas, the beginning of the earthly mission of love by God’s Son! Thank-you to all who have labored to move it, maintain it, and fund it. I love the creativity of God’s people as they use their gifts for ministry, and this is a great example!
The cross has been one of the most encouraging things in this valley for me. No matter how my day has gone, just looking up and seeing the cross lit reminds me that my Hope is in Christ Jesus! This ministry has helped me through some rough times and I just wanted to thank Randy for the time and work he’s put into it. Most of all I want to thank Jesus for giving us His Life on the cross for us! Without Him this would truly be a dark world.
